○ About Nokyo
The Nokyo (Temple Stamp) is given as proof of offering sutras to the temple’s principal deity. Instead of chanting, you may also offer a hand-copied sutra (Shakyo) as your devotion.
○ Nokyo reception hours
From 8:00 to 17:00
Please contact each temple directly for visits outside these hours.
* Most of the temples in this pilgrimage are family-run. At times, head priests may be away on religious duties, making it impossible to provide Nokyo services. We strongly recommend calling the temple in advance to confirm availability. If you are unable to visit after making an inquiry, please inform the temple as a courtesy. In some cases, you may be asked to stamp your own Nokyo (Goshuin), so please be aware of this in advance.
* If you can’t see anyone around that place, please call the temple – a staff member may be nearby and able to assist you.
○ Nokyo book
We recommend using the official binder-style Nokyo book from the pilgrimage association.

¥1,000
※ Some temples may not be able to write in personal blank stamp books. Please inquire with the temple beforehand if you wish to use your own.
